Dr. April Brown is a Relationship Therapist, Author, and Podcast Host dedicated to helping individuals and couples deepen connection, heal from trauma, and improve intimacy. She specializes in couples counseling through Gottman methods, sex and intimacy therapy, EMDR for relationship trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotional support animals. With credentials including Licensed Mental Health Christian Counselor, Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider, Certified Sex Therapist, Gottman Trained Therapist (Levels 1–3), EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Therapist, and more, Dr. April runs thriving private practices in Cape Coral and Sarasota, as well as Vacation Counseling® retreats in Florida and Costa Rica. She is also the host of the free Bringing Intimacy Back podcast, author of the Improving Intimacy book series, and creator of free Personal and Partner Intimacy Quizzes.

We are accepting new clients for vritual counseling for the New York, New Jersey, and Wisconsin areas. We charge reasonable fees, and we have low-cost counseling services.
We accept Care Credit for bundle counseling sessions.
